The British hotel market is set to add 82,830 bedrooms by 2026, growing at a rate of 1% year on year on average. This follows a period of 0.1% year on year growth since 1998. In 2021, the United Kingdom came in second in terms of hotel room supply, being overtaken by Italy at 878,600 bedrooms. Germany, Spain and the United Kingdom followed, coming in third, fourth and fifth respectively. By 2026, there will be an estimated 960,430 bedrooms available in the British hotel market.
