Lithuania's hotel occupancy rate fell to 45.5% in October 2021, from 49.6% in September 2021. This was lower than the rate of a year ago. Hotel room supply in Lithuania is expected to reach 18,900 bedrooms by 2026, up from 16,500 bedrooms in 2021. This equates to an average annual growth rate of 1.8% since 1998. In 2021, Lithuania ranked 29th in hotel room supply, with Malta overtaking them with 16,500 bedrooms. The UK, Germany and Spain were the top three countries in that ranking.
