In 2023, Romania ranked 11th in the number of available hotel rooms, with the Netherlands slightly ahead with the same number of rooms. Germany, Spain, and France were ranked 2nd, 3rd, and 4th, respectively. In terms of hotel occupancy levels, Romania saw a decline to 22.8% in November 2021, down from 27.1% in October 2021. This is in comparison to the same period a year earlier.
