Export of vinegar from Tanzania is predicted to reach around 5,400 kilograms by 2026, a 3.8% increase from the 4,260 kilograms exported in 2021. This marks a 154.4% growth since 2008. Tanzania was the 86th largest exporter in 2021, with Mauritius coming top of the list with 4,260 kilograms. Italy, Germany and Greece were the next largest exporters in the ranking. Meanwhile, imports of vinegar into Tanzania are expected to decrease slightly by 0.2% to 100,910 kilograms in 2026, compared to 101,870 kilograms in 2021. Since 2003, Tanzanian demand has fallen by 2.9% year on year. The country was ranked 115th for 2021, with Saint Lucia ahead of the list with 101,870 kilograms. Italy, Germany and France were the next largest importers in the ranking.
