Vinegar imports to Mauritius are set to grow at an average rate of 1.2% year-on-year to reach 160,310 kilograms by 2026. This is down from a peak in 2005, when imports dropped by 2.2% year-on-year. In 2021, Mauritius ranked 109th in the world, behind Rwanda's 149,160 kilograms. Italy, Germany and France were the second, third and fourth-largest importers respectively. Meanwhile, exports of vinegar from Mauritius are forecast to rise 1.3% year-on-year to 7,230 kilograms by 2026. This is down from 2003, when exports decreased by 12.3% year-on-year. In 2021, Mauritius ranked 85th in the world, behind Botswana's 6,710 kilograms. Italy, Germany and Greece were the second, third and fourth-largest exporters respectively.
