Demand for Maltese vinegar is expected to grow 2.4% year on year CAGR, reaching almost one million kilograms by 2026. Since 2005, the country has seen an average increase of 7.1% annually. In 2021, Malta was ranked 67th in the world for vinegar imports, with Lebanon coming in just ahead at 856,000 kilograms. Italy, Germany and France followed, respectively, as numbers 2, 3 and 4 in the ranking. Meanwhile, exports of Maltese vinegar are expected to reach 19,060 kilograms by 2026, growing at a rate of 0.8% year on year. Since 2005, the country's supply has decreased by 0.1% each year. In 2021, Malta placed 80th in the world for vinegar exports, with Egypt coming in just ahead at 18,180 kilograms. Italy, Germany and Greece followed, respectively, as numbers 2, 3 and 4 in the ranking.
