Since 2002, the supply of vinegar in the country has grown an average of 3.8% year-on-year. In 2021, Austria overtook Iran as the world's 15th leading exporter of vinegar with 10.7 million kilograms. Italy, Germany and Greece came in second, third and fourth place respectively. Iran's vinegar imports are forecasted to reach 1.4 million kilograms by 2026, up 3.8% from 2021's 1.1 million kilograms. Since 2010, the demand for vinegar in the country has risen an average of 20.8% year-on-year. In 2021, Kazakhstan overtook Iran in the ranking for the world's 60th leading importer of vinegar with 1.1 million kilograms. Italy, Germany and France respectively came in second, third and fourth place.
