In 2021, the Czech Republic ranked 57th, with Tunisia taking the lead at 21,010 metric tons. Indonesia, India and Vietnam followed as the second, third, and fourth largest producers, respectively. Czech fish consumption is forecast to reach 30,090 metric tons by 2026. That’s a decrease of 0.1% year on year, on average. From 2017 to 2021, demand for fish in the Czech Republic has dropped by 1.5% annually.
