Filipina fish production is projected to reach nearly 2.3 million metric tons by 2026. The country's production of fish has grown at an average rate of 0.3% annually since 1965. In 2021, Filipina supply placed seventh with 2.2 million metric tons. South Korea, Indonesia, India and Vietnam respectively ranked first, second, third and fourth. Filipina fish consumption is expected to drop to 1.0 million metric tons by 2026 from 1.1 million metric tons in 2021, a yearly decrease of 1.8%. Since 2017, the country's demand for fish has decreased by 2.9% annually.
