Leading the rankings were Germany, Italy, and the United Kingdom in second, third, and fourth places, respectively. However, sales of Maltese cereal products experienced a downturn. In 2020, sales were recorded at €82 million, a 7.4% decrease from the previous year's €89 million. Despite this dip, the Maltese cereal market has shown a steady annual growth of 1.3% since 2015.
