Egyptian cement export is projected to increase by 0.5% annually over the next five years, reaching $122 million by 2026. From 1999, the supply of Egyptian cement has grown by 18.2% annually. In 2021, the country was ranked 24th in the export market, overtaken by Mexico at $116.7 million. Canada, Germany, and the United Arab Emirates ranked second, third, and fourth respectively. In 2018, imports of Egyptian cement came to $10.3 million, up 23.3% from 2017's $8.3 million. Since 1999, demand for Egyptian cement has dropped by an average of 39% each year.
