Paraguayan cement import is forecast to drop 2.8% year-on-year to $18.7 million in 2026. Since 1994, Paraguayan demand has declined by 5.9% annually. In 2021, the country ranked 81st with imports of $21.7 million, lagging behind Bulgaria at $21.7 million. The Philippines, Sri Lanka and China took the second, third and fourth spots in this ranking. Paraguayan cement export saw a dramatic jump of 8,980% in 2018, from just $82 in 2017, to reach $7.5 million. This placed the country 115th in the ranking, behind Antigua and Barbuda at $7.5 million. Canada, Germany and the United Arab Emirates came in second, third and fourth in this ranking.
