Tunisian cement exports are predicted to drop 4.9% year-on-year by 2026, from $50 million in 2021. This marks a 10.4% decline since 1996. In 2021, Tunisia placed 45th in cement exports, lagging behind Peru with $50 million. Canada, Germany and the United Arab Emirates took the top three spots. Import of cement to Tunisia saw a dramatic rise of 430.6% in 2017, reaching $1.9 million from $365,780 in 2016. However, since 1996, demand has dropped by 26.6%.
