Ivorian cement imports are set to reach around $204 million by 2026, according to estimates. This growth of 2.2% each year is based on the 2021 figure of $176 million. Since 2000, the country has seen an average annual growth rate of 4.8%. In 2021, it ranked 15th in the world, with Singapore having overtaken it. The Philippines, Sri Lanka, and China were ranked 2nd, 3rd, and 4th, respectively. Ivorian cement exports also saw an impressive increase in 2018, with a 406% rise from 2017 to $7 million. This was still a decrease from the figures seen in 2000, with an average annual decrease of 13.7%. In 2018, the country ranked 73rd in the world, with Burkina Faso ahead of it. Canada, Germany and the United Arab Emirates were ranked 2nd, 3rd and 4th, respectively.
