Gambian cement imports are due to hit around $17 million by 2026, according to research. The country's demand for the material has fallen by 3.5% each year since 2000. In 2021, Gambia was in 93rd place for imports, with Macedonia overtaking it at $16 million. The Philippines, Sri Lanka and China followed in 2nd, 3rd and 4th place respectively.
