Nepalese imports of cement are set to reach $328 million by 2026, up from $275 million in 2021. On average, demand has grown by 2.9% year on year since 1999. In 2021, Nepal ranked 8th in terms of imports, with Australia overtaking them at $275 million. The Philippines, Sri Lanka and China ranked 2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively. Nepalese cement exports saw a huge jump from $24 million in 2014 to $575 million in 2015, a 23-fold increase.
