Lao cement exports are expected to reach $270 million by 2026, up 4% from 2021. This jump follows a 3.9% increase since 2015. Lao ranked 104th in 2021, behind Burundi at $213,770. Canada, Germany and the United Arab Emirates came in second, third and fourth place. Meanwhile, Lao cement imports are expected to reach $122 million by 2026, rising 2.8% from 2021. This follows a 4.8% increase since 2015. Lao came in 28th in 2021, with Peru ahead of them at $103.5 million. The Philippines, Sri Lanka and China respectively ranked second, third and fourth.
