Export of cement from Azerbaijan is set to reach $23.5 million by 2026, up 4.7% year on year. Since 2003, Azerbaijani supply has grown 16.4% annually. In 2021, Azerbaijan ranked 62nd, while Serbia placed higher at $17.5 million. Canada, Germany and the United Arab Emirates held the second, third and fourth spots in the rankings. Meanwhile, Azerbaijani cement imports declined 11% from 2018 to 2019, from $9.8 million to $8.7 million. Since 2001, demand for cement in Azerbaijan has decreased 39.4% year on year. In 2019, Suriname overtook Azerbaijan, coming in at 108th place with $8.7 million. The Philippines, Sri Lanka and China occupied the second, third and fourth spots in this ranking.
