Paraguayan roofing imports are set to reach almost 5 million kilograms by 2026. Since 1994, the country's demand has risen by 7.7% each year. In 2021, Paraguay was ranked 57th in the world, with Moldova coming in at number one. The United Kingdom, Romania and Bulgaria were numbers two, three and four respectively. Paraguayan roofing exports, however, have decreased dramatically, going from 102,740 kilograms in 2017 to just 2,170 kilograms in 2018. This is a decrease of 97.9% compared to the previous year. Since 1996, exports have fallen by 53.3% each year. Paraguay was ranked 87th in 2018, with Mauritius coming in at number one. France, Hungary and Spain were numbers two, three and four respectively.
