Export of roofing from India is expected to reach around 49 million kilograms by 2026, up from 42 million kilograms in 2021 - an increase of 2.4% on average each year. This is a substantial increase from 2001, when exports had risen 88.9% year on year. India ranked 13th in 2021 - behind the Netherlands, which exported 42 million kilograms. France, Hungary and Spain were ranked 2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively. Import of roofing into India is set to reach 135 million kilograms by 2026, up from 105 million kilograms in 2021 - a year on year growth of 4.3%. Since 2001, import demand has risen 9.9% annually. India was ranked 5th in 2021, behind Bulgaria, who imported 105 million kilograms. The United Kingdom, Romania and Bulgaria were ranked 2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively.
