Japanese roofing exports are expected to reach 46 million kilograms by 2026, up 0.5% annually. This is on the up from 1993 when they began increasing by 4.1% year on year. In 2021, Japan came in at 12th place, with Greece surpassing them with 44.7 million kilograms. France, Hungary and Spain followed in second, third and fourth place. Japanese roofing imports are projected to fall by 6.2% year on year CAGR, reaching 2.2 million kilograms by 2026. This is a decrease from 1993 when they began to drop by 8.4% year on year. In 2021, Japan was 63rd, with Costa Rica beating them with 3.4 million kilograms. The United Kingdom, Romania and Bulgaria came second, third and fourth in the rankings.
