Mexican roofing export is set to fall by 17.6% to 4.4 million kilograms by 2026. In 2021, Mexico ranked 28th worldwide in roofing export, with 12.7 million kilograms. The United Arab Emirates was the top exporter, followed by France, Hungary and Spain. Meanwhile, roofing imports to Mexico jumped 215.5% to 156,440 kilograms in 2018, up from 49,590 kilograms the year before. Since 1995, Mexican demand for roofing imports has declined by 22.3% year on year.
