In 2018, Ghanaian roofing export plummeted 95% from 4,010 kilograms to 200 kilograms. Its Ivory Coast counterpart was ahead, at 200 kilograms. France, Hungary and Spain ranked 2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively. In contrast, roofing imports to Ghana surged by 179.6% to 1,019,900 kilograms in 2018, up from 364,830 kilograms in 2017. Since 2001, the demand has grown 41.7% annually.
