Cyprus overtook Malta in terms of roofing imports in 2019, with a total of €1.6 million. France, the United Kingdom and Austria followed in second, third and fourth place respectively. Maltese roofing imports reached 1,000 kilograms in 2018, up 82% from 550 kilograms in 2017. However, this was still a 53% decrease compared to 2005.
