Indonesian roofing exports plummeted 81.7% in 2021 to just over 106,000 kilograms, down from 581,110 kilograms in 2020 and 52.5% lower than 1994 levels. El Salvador was the top exporter, followed by France, Hungary, and Spain. Meanwhile, Indonesian roofing imports are projected to reach 2.65 million kilograms by 2026, up 1.8% year-on-year from 2.35 million kilograms in 2021. Estonia was the top importer in 2021, followed by the United Kingdom, Romania, and Bulgaria. On average, imports have dropped 0.3% since 1994.
