In 2021, Malaysia came in 19th place, lagging behind Belgium, which exported 24.8 million kilograms. France, Hungary and Spain took the top three spots, respectively. Meanwhile, Malaysia's roofing imports are projected to decrease by 8% year-on-year and reach 3.56 million kilograms by 2026. Since 1994, there has been a 6.3% yearly decrease. Malaysia was 54th in 2021, with Ireland taking the lead at 5.76 million kilograms. The United Kingdom, Romania and Bulgaria followed in the next three spots.
