Demand for roofing in the Philippines is set to decrease by 1.4% year on year on average, reaching 4.8 million kilograms by 2026. This is down 3.9% since 2001. In 2021, Malaysia took the lead for the highest demand in the country at 5.25 million kilograms, followed by the United Kingdom, Romania and Bulgaria. Filipina roofing exports plummeted by 95.5% in 2018 compared to the year prior, reaching 1,170 kilograms. Since 2001, the supply has decreased by 47.2%. Peru overtook the Philippines in 2018, while France, Hungary and Spain came in at numbers 2, 3 and 4 respectively.
