Lebanon’s roofing imports are projected to reach 90.5 million kilograms by 2026, growing by an average of 0.9% year-on-year. Since 2002, Lebanese demand has decreased by 1.6% annually. In 2021, Lebanon ranked 10th, with Bosnia and Herzegovina ahead at 84.7 million kilograms. The United Kingdom, Romania and Bulgaria came in at 2nd, 3rd and 4th place respectively. Meanwhile, Lebanon’s roofing exports fell to 13,130 kilograms in 2021, down 25.4% from 2020’s figure of 17,590 kilograms. Since 2003, Lebanese supply has declined by 33.3% year-on-year. In 2021, Lebanon was 72nd, with Russia ahead at 13,130 kilograms. France, Hungary and Spain ranked 2nd, 3rd and 4th, respectively.
