In 2018, Kenyan Diagnostic Reagent import attained $76.4 million, up 5.9% from the previous year. This was the highest figure since 1997, when the value of imports was 11.3% higher compared to 2017. Kenyan Diagnostic Reagent exports, however, were down 27.5% to $674,680 in 2018. In 1997, the country supplied $930,650 in exports, a decrease of 19.5% compared to 2017. Kazakhstan was the leading exporter in this category, with Germany, the Netherlands and the UK following in 2nd, 3rd, and 4th place respectively.
