Canada's import and export of diagnostic reagents is on the rise. By 2026, the country is estimated to import around $820 million worth of diagnostic reagents, an increase of 1.2% each year since 2021. It ranked ninth in 2021, with Spain coming out ahead at $761 million. Germany, China and the Netherlands came in second, third and fourth respectively. Exports of diagnostic reagents are predicted to reach $836 million by 2026, a 2.9% increase since 2021. In 2021, Belgium was the leader in this category, followed by Germany, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom. Since 1994, Canada has seen an average 8.7% increase in exports.
