Montenegro's diagnostic reagent exports totalled $1.3 million in 2021, a steep drop of 47% from the previous year's $2.5 million. Since 2012, exports have decreased by 8.8% year-on-year. Montenegro came in 118th place in 2021, lagging behind Aruba, which had exports of $1.3 million. Germany, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom ranked 2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively. Montenegro's diagnostic reagent imports are projected to reach $8.1 million by 2026, up 2% year-on-year from 2021's $7.1 million. Since 2011, imports have increased 6.2% year-on-year. Montenegro came in 110th place in 2021, behind Mauritius, which had imports of $7.1 million. Germany, China and the Netherlands ranked 2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively.
