European Wind Power Gross Inland Consumption by Country

Germany leads Europe in wind power consumption with 11.01 million tonnes of oil equivalent (MTOE), experiencing a 3.09% increase year-on-year. The UK follows with 6.65 MTOE, up by 6.32%. Spain and France show significant contributions with 5.83 MTOE and 3.53 MTOE, respectively, growing by 5.9% and 7.49%. Sweden and the Netherlands reported notable increases of 14.39% and 16.68%, respectively. The highest year-on-year growth rates were recorded by Serbia (54.44%), Bosnia and Herzegovina (36.49%), and Moldova (38.03%). Scandinavian countries like Norway also showed substantial increases, namely 35.05%.
