European Heat Final Consumption in Chemical and Petrochemical Sectors by Country

In 2023, Germany led the European Heat Final Consumption in the Chemical and Petrochemical sectors with a consumption of 2.61 Million Tonnes of Oil Equivalent (MTOE), though it saw a slight decrease of 0.49% year-on-year. The Netherlands and France followed with consumptions of 1.35 MTOE and 1.0 MTOE, experiencing increases of 1.6% and 3.24% respectively.
