The year-on-year variations for the last two years were 2.23% in 2022 and 2.13% in 2023. The average annual growth (CAGR) over the last five years shows a moderate increase of 2.76%.
Looking ahead, the forecasted figures suggest a further expansion, reaching 5010.0 thousand metric tons by 2028. Although the 5-year CAGR is expected to decelerate to 1.52%, the municipal waste recovery amount in Türkiye anticipates a growth rate of 7.84% over this period.
