India is set to become one of the world’s largest consumers of olive oil. By 2026, consumption is projected to reach 14,000 metric tons, up from 13,000 metric tons in 2021. This growth of 1.5% year-on-year is slightly higher than the 2.7% average rate of increase since 2017. South Korea currently consumes the most olive oil, with 13,000 metric tons. Spain, the United States, and Greece come in at second, third, and fourth place respectively.
