Demand for Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) exams in South Korea is set to reach 4.9 million by 2026, up 4% on the year-on-year basis. Since 2012, the demand has grown by 17.3% annually. In 2021, the country took sixth place in the international ranking, with 3.8 million exams. Italy topped the list with the same number of MRI exams, while Germany, France and Spain ranked second, third and fourth respectively.
