Germany, Spain and the Netherlands followed with the second, third and fourth most items. Imports of British Smart Cards are predicted to fall by 0.8% year on year CAGR to reach around 300 million items by 2026. This is a decrease of 1.8% since 2012, putting the UK in 5th place in this ranking in 2021, with France in the lead at 317 million items. The Netherlands, Spain and France came in second, third and fourth respectively.
