Kenyan pesticide consumption is projected to drop slightly in the next five years. Last year, the country consumed 1,530 metric tons of the chemical, coming in at number 78 in the global ranking. Togo was ahead of Kenya with 1,530 metric tons. The United States, Brazil, and Argentina placed second, third, and fourth, respectively. Since 1995, Kenyan pesticide consumption has declined by an average of 0.7% year on year. It is expected to fall to 1,430 metric tons by 2026.
