Spain came in first in 2021 with 0.35 metric tons, followed by Germany, Saudi Arabia, and the UK. Austrian pesticide imports are expected to reach 2,180 metric tons by 2026, a 0.2% year on year increase. This is down from 2,150 metric tons in 2021, and a 1.5% decrease since 1999. Nigeria was the top importer in 2021, with 2,150 metric tons, followed by Thailand, Germany, and Taiwan.
