Cyprus was the highest importer, followed by Brazil, Spain, and Thailand. Meanwhile, exports of fertilizer from Taiwan reached 13,620 metric tons in 2021, putting it in 46th place worldwide. Chile was the highest exporter, followed by Norway, Belgium, and Finland. Lastly, Taiwan's fertilizer production was 682,650 metric tons in 2021, landing the nation in 10th place globally. Italy was the top producer, followed by India, Vietnam, and Indonesia. Production is expected to grow at a rate of 0.4% year-on-year through 2026.
