Togo's fertilizer imports are forecast to rise to 44,000 metric tons by 2026. This marks an average year-on-year growth rate of 3.9%. Since 2009, the country's demand has decreased by 9.4% on average every year. In 2021, Taiwan topped the rankings at 34,000 metric tons, followed by Brazil, Spain and Thailand in 2nd, 3rd and 4th place respectively. Meanwhile, Togo's fertilizer exports surged 31.8% to 11,000 metric tons in 2019. This placed the country 49th on the list, with Honduras at the top of the rankings at 11,000 metric tons. Norway, Belgium and Finland followed in 2nd, 3rd and 4th place respectively.
