The import of fertilizers in the Bahamas is projected to reach 2,500 metric tons by 2026. In 2021, the country imported 2,200 metric tons, representing a 2.2% annual growth rate since 2007. This made the Bahamas the 130th largest fertilizer-importing nation in the world, trailing New Caledonia which imported 2,200 metric tons. Brazil, Spain and Thailand were the top three importing countries.
