The Dominican Republic's fertilizer import and export numbers are on the rise. In 2021, the country ranked 91st in import with 16,670 metric tons and 50th in export with 11,430 metric tons. By 2026, Dominican fertilizer import is projected to reach 18,650 metric tons and export 12,990 metric tons. This marks an annual growth rate of 1.8% and 2% respectively since 2007 and 2017. Leading the imports was Israel at 16,670 metric tons, followed by Brazil, Spain and Thailand. For exports, Costa Rica was in the lead at 11,430 metric tons followed by Norway, Belgium and Finland.
