Zambia saw a significant increase in its fertilizer exports in recent years, reaching 2,460 metric tons by 2026, up 5.6% year on year. This is a 149% increase since 2007. Zambia came in at number 67 in 2021, with Tanzania just ahead at 1,770 metric tons. Norway, Belgium and Finland respectively ranked second, third and fourth in this ranking. Zambia is also seeing a notable rise in its fertilizer imports - up 4.3% year on year - reaching 272,350 metric tons by 2026. This is a 38.6% increase since 2007. In 2021, Zambia was number 27, with Benin just ahead at 210,770 metric tons. Brazil, Spain and Thailand respectively ranked second, third and fourth in this ranking.
