South African exports of fertilizer have decreased drastically since 2020, dropping 23% to 20,140 metric tons this year. This is a 14.3% decrease from 2007. Jordan took the top spot on the export ranking, followed by Norway, Belgium, and Finland. Meanwhile, South African imports of fertilizer are expected to grow 3.3% year-on-year, reaching 39,800 metric tons by 2026. From 2007, imports have decreased by 1.6%. Belize was the leading importer in 2021, followed by Brazil, Spain, and Thailand.
