Malian fertilizer production is expected to reach around 30,300 metric tons by 2026. This is a growth of 2.8% from 25,600 metric tons in 2021. Since 2013, the Malian market has grown 5% annually. In 2021, Malaysia led the way with 25,600 metric tons, followed by India, Vietnam, and Indonesia at numbers 2, 3, and 4, respectively. Malian fertilizer import increased significantly in 2017, reaching 38,600 metric tons, compared to 28,200 metric tons the year before. This was a 36.8% growth from 2016. Since 2007, demand has grown 8.1% annually. Malian fertilizer export also saw an increase in 2017, with 114,500 metric tons, up 1.8% from 2016. However, since 2012, supply has decreased 6.1% each year.
