Yemen is set to increase fertilizer exports and imports over the next five years. Fertilizer exports are projected to reach 250,000 metric tons by 2026, up from 181,000 metric tons in 2021. That’s an average annual growth rate of 5.3% since 2017. Imports of fertilizer are expected to reach 9,180 metric tons by 2026, up from 7,430 metric tons in 2021. This is an average annual growth rate of 3.6% since 2007.
