Meanwhile, Costa Rican imports reached 222 kilograms in 2018, skyrocketing 37,020% from 0.6 kilogram in 2017. Since 1999, demand has increased by 1.5% year-on-year. The country ranked 41st in 2018, with Nicaragua, Myanmar and Germany taking the second, third and fourth spots respectively.
