Global exports of cigars are expected to reach around 58.4 million kilograms by 2026. This is an increase of 0.6% per year since 2021, when exports totaled 56.2 million kilograms. Since 2016, the global supply of cigars has dropped by 1.2% each year. The Dominican Republic was the largest exporter of cigars in 2021, with 14.8 million kilograms. Myanmar, Nicaragua and Germany followed, occupying the second, third and fourth places in the ranking, respectively. Uganda saw a dramatic 436.7% rise in cigar exports from 2016 to 2021. Conversely, Denmark experienced a 71% drop in the same period.
