Czech cigar imports are on the rise, with an increase of 0.4% year-on-year expected over the next five years. In 2021, 192,420 kilograms of cigars will be imported into the country, up from 187,880 kilograms in 2021. However, since 1998, Czech demand has decreased by 9%. Czech cigar exports increased dramatically in 2019, with 18,840 kilograms shipped out - a 335.6% increase on the 4,330 kilograms exported in 2018. Since 1998, Czech supply has declined by 53.6%. In 2019, Zambia overtook the Czech Republic as the number 36 exporter, while Myanmar, Nicaragua and Germany ranked 2nd, 3rd and 4th, respectively.
